Content creation for newsletters, media releases, feature articles, websites, social media and corporate publications like event programmes and customer magazines is one of my core skills. I love writing – pretty much any kind of corporate writing (but not ad copy… darn it, I just don’t have the right ‘something’ for that kind of writing…). I’m a pretty handy editor and proof-reader too, if you need someone to edit and check your work for grammar, punctuation and spelling.

Developing media strategy and communications plans are tasks I enjoy, especially being able to contribute to a client’s overall marketing plan with a strong and complementary media strategy.

I’m an experienced and respected on-event media room manager, particularly at motorsport events, ensuring that media accreditation is carried out to your specifications.

I’ve turned my hand to all kinds of writing and publicity campaigns over the years – awards entries, sponsorship proposals, sponsor reports, event organisation and guest list collation. However being a sole practitioner, I certainly don’t pretend that I can handle every kind of communications project. If your project is outside my skill set or in an unfamiliar sector, I’ll be upfront about that and happily suggest an alternative communications consultant who may better suit your needs.

I’ve worked with a variety of designers, photographers and printers. I’m happy to work with your established suppliers or can suggest people I think could help complete your project to a high quality, professional standard.
